Tristikov's Decade Art Retrospective (2009-2019)

So I've seen some decade art memes going around, and I was excited to do one of my own!
Well, I haven't done yearly summaries or anything like this before, so I went a little more in-depth and decided to pick a few pieces from each year.
(also if anyone would like this as a template, let me know!)

I've been on this site since 2005, and it is a real nostalgia trip to go back through my gallery and think about what was going on at the time I drew anything in particular.
It's also a lot of fun to look at the trades, crossovers, and in-jokes I've shared with other artists on this site, and I hope to continue this habit in the years to come!

I haven't always been especially involved with the community though, or even always been responsive to comments...
In the earlier years here I hadn't yet come to realize the potential of the site's social aspects, and mainly used my gallery simply as a place to put my art that was available online.
But as my art means a lot to me, I really do appreciate everyone who has taken the time to fave, watch, and comment on my work to let me know what they think!

Since I started working on Avania, I have become more focused on my art than ever before, and if these past few years have been any indication, I can continue to learn and grow at a rapid pace!
The latest page of the comic is out now at https://worldofavania.com and was drawn in 2018, which means we are getting pretty close to present-day drawings...
I am really looking forward to sharing my most recent work in particular, because things are just getting better and better! Here's to 10 more years of drawing!
