First printed proof copies of Avania No.1

Though I plan on releasing the comic digitally through Comixology Submit, I ordered a color proof and a black & white proof (both covers are color) from Ka-blam just because having physical copies is awesome.

Unfortunately, I had a couple of b&w pages with incorrect margin sizes, which seems to have caused some alignment issues when printed (even with pages that were the right size, which is strange), so I’ll have to inquire about that before I order any more.

The color version came out perfectly though, and I am extremely excited to have one full issue completed! This first issue is 32 pages long, not counting the covers. Subsequent issues will be 20 pages long, and I will only be making black and white versions for time’s sake, until I have enough of a backlog to justify hiring a colorist.
