Train goin' down the train track to the train station of loneliness at midnight

Woofle

Two-fer! Here's a song that plays in pretty much every season of the game project. What's cooler than trains?
NOTHING. THAT'S WHAT.

On the world of Elancia, steam power is a pretty big deal, and most of the developed nations of the world have at least one railway. These railways transport people faster than going by wagon train, by horseback, or by walking. As such, one could practically treat having the railroad come to their town as an equivalent to being able to print their own money.

While the politics surrounding many Elancian railways are rather complicated, the most important part is that they're revolutionizing the world of Elancia. Throughout the course of the game, the hypothetical player will be able to have their party board trains to get from town to town (at least in countries with railroads at all.) On the trains, there are shops to resupply, NPCs to talk to, and scenes to be had when talking to other player characters. Fun time! ...but it means I had to make a really long song, since, essentially, it's a really long, skinny town we're dealing with. Good thing the game's meant to be a side scroller! :V

I like this song, it very much reminds me of some of the town themes from Grandia and Grandia II

Oh gosh, now I'm wanting to replay those games really badly! When I first played them, I had a terrible TV and could barely hear the musics. ;~; I loved what I could hear though!

Having recently played Grandia II, and having played Grandia not too long ago, I would say that it is something you definitely should do. They are pretty amazing examples of jRPGs.

Well, that settles it. Once I finish up the projects I'm working on, playing those two games (and sure, what the heck, 3 as well!) will be my reward!

There actually is something cooler than trains. Trains, in space!

Planets are in space, and trains are on planets, so... TRAINS IN SPACE! ...sort of?

That reminds me, that one game in beta on steam, Starbound, is going to have a race added by next version that uses space trains. Even though I dont like the race, im going to have to play as one just to have a SPACE TRAIN.
