On the world of Elancia, there are two dominant religions. One, the Fellowship of Agiys worships many Gods who govern various elements, the other, the Church of Elia worships only one Goddess, who they believe governs all things.

Elia's church is based in the island city of Illyrsion (Uh-lurr-see-ahn) between the Kerlynzian Empire and the nation of Pratz. Illyrsion, like the Elian religion, is not very old for the most part. Although there was a small following for thousands of years, the religion did not spread and become as powerful as it now is until roughly 270 years or so before our story takes place. As such, Illyrsion's oldest structures are shy of 300 years old, but no less regal and extravagant for that fact.

The highest ranking clergymembers of the Elian church all meet often in Illyrsion to discuss matters of the faith, and everything from their private army to their special re-education camps, to their efforts to help the needy and the poor.

Illyrsion is first visited in season 2, and is the site of the culmination of one of season 2's main arcs. One of the main characters, Karina, has quite a lot of history here, and the island shaped her life, although that isn't necessarily a good thing...

Anyway, I went for kind of a wistful, jazzy sound aside from trying to make the song sound as 'holy' as possible considering the earliest part of this sentence. :V Illyrsion is visited during seasons 2 and 4, and a lot goes on here, so I tried to keep the song varied and interesting all the way through. Drum-stutters, disco strings and all.
