This is the world map theme for Season 2 of Elancia Chronicles: Order of New Gods... after a torrential rain-storm hits that makes travel more difficult, brings out more monsters, and even alters parts of the map. During this massive storm, the group is tasked with several missions by the Imperial Knights, after a few unfortunate events lead to being forced into servitude. A lot of wild twists come one after another during this storm. With all that in mind, I wanted to make it really action-packed! This ended up being one of the best (to me!) themes on the soundtrack. I was very proud of it, and hope people enjoy it in the game about 400 years from now when it's done.

Season 2 is quite dynamic with its world map themes. There are three separate versions of 'Heartless' -- one for daytime, one for night time, and one for after a torrential storm hits, that does not let up for weeks. After the storm passes, and some major events take place, the map theme changes to another song entirely. I want the player to experience how the characters are feeling through music, and I feel that such things enhance that experience.

Season 2 takes place in the Kerlynzian Empire, so there are lots of Asian influences in its music.
