Forest Factory Redux

Woofle

Alternate version of a track from ECO made for... reasons. Here's the original; https://soundcloud.com/leila-wilson-woofle/forest-factory

.

Info from the original upload: The focus of this particular one is a logging town in the game's world, which is located along a river. Although most of the city is still forested in, a lot of the surrounding area has been logged, replanted, and logged again for hundreds of years. The industry in this town is very old, and a lot of the mills in town are as old as the oldest trees within the town.
There's a lot of machines here, working day and night, alongside their living counterparts, and lots of conveyor belts in the trees. (So basically Wood Zone >_>; )
The town (Zandvoort, by name) isn't that far from the town of Zolder, whose song you can find here: Leila-wilson-woofle – Deep-forest Both were once the lands of the fox-tribes, but now are a bit more international.

Thank you!!! ;~; This song was the start of me realizing I could actually re-write and nobody would hate me or anything. One of my collaborators was ridiculously overbearing when it came to me re-writing any of the story or music, and it definitely left scars. Without her here, I'm unshackled, and cackling madly into the sunset. XD

well I'm not about to be upset if you feel like rewriting this that or the other.

hmmm now i know why i heard the faint sound of mad cackling accompanied by the sound of falling shackles. was almost spooky, almost.

I didn't mean to break free so loudly that it resonated across the globe! D: ...but in retrospect, it felt pretty good. xD

Hehe... I like this. It really makes me think of casual town music when you're wandering around a game world from the older gaming era. Now that I've got this badass new computer I've got an interest in retro games which is ironic I guess? Anyway, I like it, it really gives me like, a final fantasy sort of vibe, which you should take as a huge compliment. :)

As for your collaborators... If they're not working with you, collectively, it's not a collaborator. A burden shared is only shared if everyone works and contributes, and if not then you're better of without them. I have a collaborator, but we're working together and not inhibiting or controlling what the other does, just backing each other up as we learn. :)

Haha, same thing here! I'm going back and playing some of the ones I missed, even though the computer is like... pretty new-ish and stuff. I feel ya! I think this one wasn't too long after my Suikoden II playthrough, and it probably shows a bit (although not as blatantly as in a few other songs. xD) This particular arrangement came after playing the first Grandia (which probably also shows. XD)

Yeah... I'm mostly shouldering it alone from here on out. It was stupid to ever try to do otherwise in my case. >_>; But I'm stubborn. I'm glad yours is such a good help to you! :D

I feel so silly playing games from 199X on a computer so fast it makes the flash look like he's stuck in tar. LOL. I still need to learn how to do some video editing... Got to decide what to shoot, hell, I need a production crew. LOL.

I'm definitely grateful to have someone to share the burden. I hope it all works out. I've got some seriously complex plans that I'm a little terrified either way!
