The Forgotten Relic by Wolven-Sister (critique requested)

The Forgotten Relic (critique requested)

Wolven-Sister

I experimented on practicing a more Asian-like background. I've always admired how artists depict the landscapes and the vibrance of sakura trees. I'm not that great with waterfalls, if anyone knows any techniques and/or tutorials to help me out on this I will appreciate any advice <3
So I tried attempting this as another entry for the local contest. This was over 100 layers x__x
I also tried something new with the fur, I don't much care for it. Next time I'll just go with my usual lol

Anyway, what I was trying to do with this drawing was a wolf-god wandering aimlessly, now forgotten.
I don't know about other Asian countries but from my mythology research, Japan used to pray to wolf-gods to bless them for a bountiful harvest (i.e. the anime "Spice and Wolf").
The wolf-god in my picture here is angry at mortals for disregarding him and now he roams bitter and alone.

I hope you guys like it!! Thanks so much for your time in checking this out! :D
