This has been in the wings since I did the commission piece for Molly McAlister of her and Constance watching cartoons and eating cereal on the livingroom floor.
For reasons I can't fathom, I was struck by the totally sweet image of the two of them cuddled up asleep at the end of a long day of playing, roughhousing and whatever mischief young ewes get into during a weekend sleepover.
The idea here wasn't that they started like this but that they both fell asleep on the bed while playing, and ended up cuddled up together for warmth and the instinctive desire for companionship (They're herd-critters, after all).
