Jersey Devil Demon Dragon by WinterSoul

Jersey Devil Demon Dragon

WinterSoul

Finally a paint with the likeliness of the creature that inspired the Demon Dragon figurine - the Jersey Devil himself! He's partially a part two to the original "Mr. Leeds" sculpture I made, (which is still floating around in the back of my DA gallery). This time though, he has some fighting spirit! No hugs needed for this one, (although the first one did appreciate all the kind hugs given out to him!). If you leave him to charge in the sunlight, come dusk he has eerie, glowing eyes!

Are you interested in giving Mr. Leeds a home? You're in luck! He's still up for sale here: http://wintersoulstudios.bigcartel.com/product/jersey-devil

As a born-and-raised New Jerseyan I feel obligated to praise you on this. This is probably the best representation of the Devil I've ever seen in any medium. A++

Thank you! That means a lot, being one of my favorite bits of folklore, I definitely want to do honor to the legend :)

Another native New Jerseyan stopping by to say that this is totally rad! This is such a great interpretation of the Jersey Devil and I'm in love with this little guy. The college I went to was only a five-minute drive away from Leeds Point and my friends and I used to take drives out to the marsh there at night when we were bored (or when we wanted to skip out on doing classwork for a while haha). Gorgeous work!

Thank you much! Hehe, that would be awesome to have that so close by, it would be a neat place to go during free time!
