Siberian Blue Blood (critique requested)

weaselwomancreations

Disclaimer : This is an original species, a "were weasel" like concept, called a Dirgehowler. They are massive sized mustelids, residents of the arctic and sub arctic regions of the world. They have no relation to canines...

This is a subspecies of the overall species, called a Siberian Blue Blood. Their trademark feature is a steely grey coat, a dilution of the black gene. Other coat colours can exist, such as black and liver and grey and brown.

Their range is in the northern reaches of Russia, in Siberia and do occur in Finland as well. They reside mainly in tundras and mountainous regions. The steely blue coat lends them a good adaption to blending into the foggy distance.

They hunt caribou, whales, elk and small game, and some engage in cannibalism during lean times and hardship.
