The Tornado entered service in 1981 as a collaborative venture with what is now EADS, BAe Systems and Finnmeccanica. The Tornado is still in service as the GR.4, and the Dambusters Squadron 617 use the type today. This particular GR.1 arrived in 2005, after its last flight in 2004.
