The Yorkshire Air Museum's Halifax is a reconstruction of one that made an emergency landing on the Isle of Lewis in 1945, the fuselage was of Mk.2 standard whilst the actual aircraft is of Mk.3 standard, however the wings were from a Hastings transport at what was RAF Catterick.
