Priithaloth of a Hundred Tongues

Vosyl

Another D&D Portrait of an NPC, Hundred Tongues was the leader of a congregation band of 'Free Toads' that were able to break free of Wormwiggle's 'Tide-Calling' they put it. Revering shipwrecks as sacred sights to sea spirits, after they were commanded to steal Sorhogg's treasure right under the party's nose they had gotten the beaches of Ashtide Atoll and took the treasure to themselves trying to figure out how to return it to the seafloor without being mentally controlled by Wormwiggle once more. Ultimately he was defeated by the party's +1 Net and hobo bindled with a javelin holding it all together and pushed through a palm tree. Held up for interrogation, the party's noble barbarian revealed she's actually incredibly evil with no concern of monster rights, one failed intervention and me telling them "He's not going to tell you how to get more Merleech Tools, you'll just use them to torture him some more... but he does tell you he's fighting against Wormwiggle, and the kuo-toa on the island have created an ideological schism of Free-Toads vs her loyalists. Who are less going to may a ransom and more the deliever of a bounty."

Cue "Are we the baddies?" all I could think of is that one scene in the second suicide squad film where they nearly wipe out a resistance fighter camp. The shit you can improv if you read the campaign source books I'm telling ya.
