Gift art for Kraken over at Furaffinity.

Featuring Arthur who works with the Canadian Department of Defense and True North, leader of the Aurora Superhero Squad. I got intrigued by Arthur's role in the Korps Setting, and wanted my own desktop wallpaper of him in an office setting.

There was some liberties I took, and I also cut out some details I wanted for this image as it was already taking too much time to get this far and there is other korps-inspired art I want to do.

Incase I do come back to this here's what I cut: The brickwork of the walls (couldn't get it to look right in perspective, thanks to lack of early construction lines), noticeboard papers on the wall next to the office door, office door transparent (I like windows in that they help create an illusion the image is set in a larger world), Theseus (Rachel but as a Superhero, her power is self-replication. I didn't like her final pose so cut her out), I also wanted the glass divider to be covered in paper notes, photographs, and red string connecting them all around some key words to better tie it into the korps setting. I did want to add office lighting on the ceiling and have the lamps 'spotlight' the Arthur's desk and that Supersonic figurine.

But lighting is something I'm not comfortable adding at this time, I'm wanting to do a lot more colour studies like (Like this one: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/31841227 ) before I really go at it.

Working on this has taken a lot out of me as I rushed through it the past three days. I'm not sure whats up, if its me not eating enough, sleeping enough, being far too hot, or if I'm coming down with the flu but I'm going to recooperate before working on the next illustration.

Oh yeah, story I've got with this pic is that Arthur was asked to get food for North Star. Only got food for himself, and decided just to give North Star his apple. (if I added Rachel as Theseus it would've been her brown-nosing and giving Arthur the coffee and paperbag that now sits on his desk and North Star shooting her that dagger stare.)
