I went outside in search of things to sketch since I have not done a good sketch in quite some time. The garden I planted caught my attention as the flowers were starting to bloom. I set up my portable chair and went to sketch this pink flower near the entrance of the garden using my micron pen. It was windy and getting slowly darker as time went on, and I decided to stop sketching after about a hour and went inside. Looking at my sketch I felt it was missing something and mainly lacking color the most. With not a lot of time left before sunset I took my sketch book and brought out my make shift water coloring clip board. I did not time how long I was out painting in water color but the mosquitos and the dimming light from the sun eventually made me stop and I ended up with this sketch.
