Old artwork from 2015.

This is probably my most famous and popular artwork ever, it has over 30k notes on tumblr, was reposted countless times on different sites, and seems to live its own life separately from me. The funniest thing was seeing someone describe it as "an old traditional painting by an unknown artist" :D

In fact, originally it was a very personal painting, but I think over time it has lost such a personal meaning to me, becoming just a faceless "my most famous artwork".

The idea is simple and similar to a kind of Yin and Yang in relationships. The black dog is protective and warming, while having a cold mind, and the white dog is healing and sad(cold but compassionate), having a warm heart. It is a balance of compassion, warmth, vulnerability, trust, coldness and reasonability. Also, there is an idea here that the black dog protects the white from the outside world, while the white dog protects the black from himself, reaching the sensitive side.
