No one can feel what others feel, no one can touch the soul of another one. We are all locked within ourselves, alone with our perceptions and our feelings. Words, movements, touches, art... just our fragile attempts to share our feelings. But nothing will ever allow us to feel the other person from the inside.

This is a drawing about loneliness, but at the same time about some kind of harmony with one's own self. A bit about self-love and self-knowledge. And also about the dream of some impossible unity with another soul, when you become one in the moment of truly knowing each other. The creature here is a Vaeraf, my original species, who have the ability of telepathic-empathic communication, feeling each other's feelings literally.
