this seems to be a running issue with me, but i drew one of my flight rising dragons as opposed to actual schoolwork
its name is tethys and its afflicted with a sort of crystalline disease that acts almost like cordyceps fungus in a lot of ways. most of the other dragons in my lair are real careful to avoid this dragon as a result, save for a couple other plague dragons i have who try their best to keep tethys company since it can get very lonely and sad

well maybe it could be like
a dragon would eat a certain mineral and eventually when the crystals grow all over the body they'd be more easily worn so like eventually another dragon would come along and eat it and the cycle would repeatso many idea
