Uhhh this would be the third time I've sorta conceptualized what my version of the Pokemon Sigilyph would look like.

Honestly, Sigilyph is probably my favorite Pokemon, tops. It's kind of a shame though that it's only a psychic/flying type. You'd think from its Pokedex entry information from both B&W games that it would be some sorta ghost type. Ghost/psychic, ghost/dark, dark/psychic, Idek any of those would be really neat if other than flying type. Oh well, I do digress.

ANYWAYS I used my Sigilyph in my Black2 version as a model for these drawings. Her name is Chili and I adore her like the rest of my babies haha.

So basically I sort of see Sigilyph being more like a ghosty entity than anything, doing that thing it does in the ruins. I took a lotta license with the official design here, obviously, but my favorite part is the mouth. Sigilyph's primary eye is basically it's face and head. Its secondary eyes are located on the lower neck rather than on the body in the official design. When going into super spook mode to scare away intruders, its primary eye essentially explodes and tears apart into a nice gory slop while the entire neck rips open to be all toothy and terrifying. And also bloody as hell since the eye blood n' juices are all over the place by now.

Once the danger has passed and the Sigilyph calms down its neck will stitch itself back together once more and it'll have to rest for a good long while so that its primary eye can grow back.

Wow gross and yet totes awesome.
