I saw what could be perfect
It seemed it made sense just to me
That because of our attraction
Instead of two, we could be three
Thinking of us, my mind feels so clear
And losing you both is something I fear
It’s not a phase, my love is sincere
Let’s lie in our bed, just you, him and me
So being just for one of you
It was never meant for me
I was wanting different things
And wanting them all instantly
I thought rather than each, being alone
And having too much love inside
I think each of us can be better
From what the others would provide
Thinking of us, my mind feels so clear
And losing you both is something I fear
It’s not a phase, my love is sincere
Let’s lie in our bed, just you, him and me
I’m not saying there won’t be problems,
In relationships, this is true
But don’t mistake it when I say
For both I’ll see it through
Thinking of us, my mind feels so clear
And losing you both is something I fear
It’s not a phase, my love is sincere
Let’s lie in our bed, just you, him and me
This is the first song i've written for FAWM this year, and well, my first FAWM song i've ever finished and submitted in fact. It's been through a lot of changes, almost solely based around the chorus.
I wrote it to show the romantic side of polyamorous relationships, I like to think i've learnt a lot about them over the past year or so, and how they can work.
