I have a sickness

My Shitty Game Disease is pretty bad. I've done a little bit of streaming so that Ahst and Ween may regard this game and/or me with mingled horror and disgust, but my computer isn't super-great for it.

It's no wonder your computer couldn't keep up. Green is a very difficult color to render.

Reminds me of today where I got the brand-new DVD film collection of "The Best of the Worst" 12 films. People with me were very amazed by the fact that I actually paid for it. I have to explain that the only film that I'm interested in is the "Manos: The Hands of Fate" and it cost me only $4 brand-new for one film out of 12 films. Manos is actually difficult to find it without paying more than $5 used. However, they keeping telling me that I should have got different collection pack that have better films instead.

I'm very curious what else is in that collection. Gotta be at least one Ed Wood flick in there, right?

I got Daikatana as a birthday gift and ended up sincerely enjoying my time with it, if perhaps not in quite the spirit the developers intended.

There's only one Ed Wood film and that's "The Beast of Yugga Flats". It's weird that They didn't do better job on choices, they really did get many film choices right. However they did throw in The Terror and Dementia 13 who are actually decent films and doesn't belong in the collection of the best of the worst.

I do have habit of collecting any kind of survival horror games and always keep them. The worst survival horror game I have played about one hour is "Countdown: Vampire". It's hard to keep a face on that game for some reasons. I still have it because it's still survival horror that I got for few bucks. I used to have some worst games such as "Awesome Possum... Kicks Dr. Machino's Butt" as a joke until I downsized my video game collection.

Ohhh man I know that one. Haven't played it myself, but I probably would enjoy it in the right company with the right drinks.

The '...' in the full name of Awesome Possum has always irritated me. Some day I should do a grand tour of terrible 16-bit animal mascot platformers.

I have forgotten that I did play "Evil Dead: Hail to the King" for maybe like a hour too. It's a PS1 survival horror suffered from heavy stiff controls that makes it kind of unplayable in some ways. I still have it as well. I'm not sure about Overblood PS1 game sitting in my collection. My sister hated Rule of Rose for its "broken" combat system, I was lucky to get the copy for $20 before the value goes over $100 now. It's still on the shelf. There are better obscure forgotten playable survival horror games for the PS1 and PS2 than what I have listed here. However you're seen more interested in crappy games to make fun of it LoL.

Yeah Awesome Possum game was kind of interesting on wrong levels. It's 16-bit game where one speaking character talked a lot. Very hyperactive guy more than Bubsy himself who really don't talk a lot. Speaking of games that people hated. I loved Back to the Future for the NES as a kid, it was my my first NES game and it didn't stop me from playing more NES games. I was 12 back than and I still loved the game today over ten years later. It does feel more like a atari 2600 game that came out for the NES instead. Still I agreed that it should have been very different game instead of very simple run and hit game.

I just realized that Rule of Rose PS2 game actually got banned in the Untied Kingdom, your country. It was because of the sexual thing in the game I'm sure. I found out about it couple years ago.

I do make fun of them, but I also tend to find little shining spots in much-maligned games that I can sincerely appreciate. Like, Daikatana has an insane weapon set and most of the things I've found have been highly hazardous to the wielder, but the result is a shooter where you have to think much more carefully about the specific situational uses of your weapons than a modern shooter demands. It makes for some interesting challenges!

I also grew up with Bible Adventures back in the US, and honestly, if all the Seanbabies out there can't understand why six-year-old me got a kick out of jumping between treetops with five oxen stacked on top of my head, I don't know what to tell them.

That's what I do a lot in the old NES games when I was a kid. I would find them in the yard sales and other junk places dirt cheap before they have become highly sought after collectibles. There are games that is just kind of half broken sometimes but still playable and enjoyable as they are. I'm glad to see that James of the AVGN fame have been saying that his videos are meant to be satire on the games that give anybody having hard time beating them. James wasn't trying to tell people to stay away from those games. They're just meant to be funny and have something in common that people can say that's how I feel about the game they played. They're humor videos, not serious reviews. I can agreed that the flaws of a game can make the whole game very challenge and rewarding after actually beating the game with lot of patience and practice playing it. Unless the game is too easy in some ways.
