This is a reference sheet commission done for my friend Atillite, of his character whom I was surprised to hear had changed from one of canid origin to a swamp alligator since the last time we'd talked for real.

This was fun but also challenging and a little scary to work on, both for not wanting to disappoint, but it's no secret that scalies isn't exactly my comfort zone, yet Atillite wanted to give me the chance and with a deep breath I decided to take it on and was happy to have it well recieved. It's been ages since I've drawn anything with scales and the first time drawing and alligator, so I must say that I'm happy with the results. ♥
