It wasn't long after I'd made the last piece of venting artwork that I needed to make another, when a friend without even realising it and still to this day not knowing they were the cause, said something that needed me leaving the internet behind for a couple days and hide away.
This piece was born from that feeling of sitting, silently, bound to only watch as others live out your dreams and even worse, when they take it for granted or doesn't appreciate what they have, while you are left trapped in misery yourself... "The one who watches from afar, through tinted glass...", sitting out there, behind the window, unseen, the pain unnoticed, watching the warmth on the other side of the window and dreaming of what it'd be like, yet the glass might colour the scene, making it seem more perfect than it truly is, yet it still remains all you ever want. One of the strongest pieces of imagery in this picture I still consider to be Squeaky Cow down in the corner, whom symbolises "your happiness in someone else's paws".
A strong inspiration for this piece was the story "The Little Match Girl" by Hans Christian Andersen, which is a story that's always meant a lot to me and which I still to this day feel a special connection to, hense why I sometimes take on the synonym "Little Match Puppy".
I've been struggling with finding a good time to upload this piece, not wanting to spread the sadness that it contains, but at the same time wanting to share it once the time was right... well over the past couple weeks the time has been right numberous times, but I've been too far down to do it, so now is the time and then we can get back to posting happier things again. ♥

This makes me think of all the shelter animals, waiting for a family and ignored when fancy families pay grands of money for bread animals.
