I originally had the idea for Big Red back last Summer after I did my Chlorophyll Dragon picture. I had originally planned on doing a series of brightly colored dragons, but as things always seem to go, art that I get paid to do took most of my time and it became another project on the backburner.

I dug up the old file that I had started for this picture back then, and I no longer liked it. So I decided to redo the drawing completely.

I still hope to continue the series. :)
