I've been wanting to work on other pictures today, but I've had a design for a new character in my head and he's been demanding that I put him down on paper.

His backstory and appearance are pretty much definite. I've had a very specific vision for this character in my head since day one. Although I did have to abridge his history quite a bit here. It will probably be even less detailed on his character sheet than it is here due to lack of room on the sheet so I'll probably have to write up a longer version... sometime. It isn't often where I have a character with a very, very sad backstory (some crappy things may happen to my other characters, but never like this), and Deren definitely fits the bill so I really want to write a proper representation of his history at one point.

This picture is meant to focus on my notes about the character and/or species and putting a definite design down on paper rather then writing a masterpiece. I usually catch most typos, but some slip by me. If you see one and it bugs you, please send a note rather then publicly announcing it. Thank you! There are most likely a few typos here because Photoshop has been sticking on double letters lately.
