Street art of Bishkek by TychoAussie

Street art of Bishkek

TychoAussie

The street art of Bishkek is placed here and there, on walls that intermingle with tumbledown sidewalks, rocks, and bumpy roads. It is an artist's attempt to bring some whimsical beauty to the city. The traffic is always heavy in the city, and the road rules are really only suggestions. Yet the people are friendly once you get through the stoic veneer... They are passionate and caring for their kids and sometimes their pets. At one point I found a Persian cat staring down at me from a roof, gently meowing at me and staring me in the eyes. It was a friendly, well brushed cat, stuck outside for some reason. This cat we see here - is some sort of fantasmic cat with entrancing eyes that look into the depths of the universe.
