Part 1/2 of a commission set for Wizkit of FurAffinity, this piece a cell shaded paw icon commission of her cute deer character, Isabelle!
It's not too often at all that I get to work on deer characters, so this was a treat! Deer hooves are really interesting, and I tried to make these a bit more 'anthro' by making the inner half of the hoof a bit larger than the outside, (if anyone notices that.) I also really love how the little fur tuft details turned out!

Thanks a lot! These ones were really interesting to work on! And yeah, I've always just seen them referred to as 'dew claws.' And that colour is indeed natural! The character is quite pretty.

I don't really pay attention to feet much, so this actually caught my eye because it stood out. I love the details on them! I actually had no idea (my own fault for not paying enough attention) that deer had two of those little 'dewclaws' or whatever they're called on deer.
Is that paint on the toes or are they naturally that color on the character?
