Realistic Shaded Ultimate Reference Sheet Commission for Caervec of FurAffinity, featuring Siyo, the holy warrior dragon!

This was a long-term project, done for a friend of mine and fellow servicemember in the Navy! This Ultimate Ref has it all, from all of the detail shots, power shots which were AWESOME to depict on a Ref like this, down to the minutia of the character's backstory! As a result of working on this piece, and becoming a tool for rendering the character in and of himself, it was awesome to learn so much about this awesome dragon!

Attention to detail, max level, aye sir! I totally geeked out the design of this Ref as well, zooming in to pixels wide to make sure everything was aligned perfectly! So much time was put into formatting the text so all of it would fit, and close to the details it was explaining at that. A good 90% of the text was provided by the Commissioner - I provided some diagnostic and anatomical text! Also, you may note this vertical format is similar to my Blue Angels DAD, Jaeger's vertical format for this Ref - format as requested by the Commissioner, and I think turned out awesome! Makes for a unique, tiered look, and I think the full-body armor shot at the end helps 'end' it, as a main body shot is shown at both the top and bottom of the Ref.

Working on this Ref was an awesome experience in and of itself! I've learned so much about this character on so many different dimensions now, and have helped, in a way, to bring this piece wholly to life. I've actually done several pieces of Siyo over the years, including one of the first pieces to show his full body design! It's awesome to almost come full-circle and render an entire Ref Sheet of this magnitude from those earlier pieces. <3

This piece has taken a ton of work, and it's been exciting seeing it evolve over these past couple months! I'm thrilled with the final result, and it means a lot to have done a piece of this magnitude for someone and of their character!
