Armored Grandwyrm Perserva heads

Turquoisephoenix

I was brainstorming on my imaginary world she's in, and it was one of those moments where suddenly everything started making sense.

Basically long story very short, Tylia (name change pending?) is a medieval-type world that has a system of magic that, instead of the inhabitants loving it and using it for daily use, it's more of a curse than anything since magic is slowly killing the world from the inside out and twisting the landscape and inhabitants in increasingly unpredictable ways. So it's up to the heroes to attempt to rid the world of The Dreadwyrm's Curse and thus either save the world from this rampaging magic...or basically cause Armageddon. The heroes haven't exactly worked out the kinks of what's going to happen when they sever the ties.

Anyhoo, Perserva! You just see her head here because I'm honestly unsure if I should keep her wings and limbs or just make her a unspeakably long wyrm that's just a long tube of steel and death that flies through the air.

Perserva is one of three sister deities called the Matrons of Light that all represent Mind, Body, and Soul created from the untamed magics of the world. She represents Mind, and spends most of her time in the mostly uninhabitable land to the south known eloquently as "The Land of Ice and Steel", where she keeps her massive vault of books, scrolls, and the written word. And there is where she learns, she collects all the thoughts of sentient kind everywhere, and studies. She spends a good portion of her days in a trance while she sends projections of herself to gather information and more reading material.

Perserva has many titles, including "Perserva the White", "The Grandwyrm Perserva", "The Armored One", "The Dragon of Knowledge", "The Frozen Mistress of Ice and Steel", and "The Mind's Eye". Statues of her tend to be in libraries, colleges, and other places of study. Her "breath weapon" is a highly corrosive acid and she uses that to shape the armor that adorns her entire body as well as carve structures out of the jagged metal that makes up her homeland. Despite the snarly face, she is mostly a benevolent if a bit aloof god that hardly meddles in the affairs of mortals, as it would upset her delicate research.

Adventurers are allowed to come ask her a question, any question at all...provided they can survive the frozen wastelands that make up her home.
