A wheel thrown porcelain mug with a pulled handle. The African grey, representing my parrot ChuChu, is a stamped sprig I hand-carved myself (so it is reproducible though no stamping will come out the same). The stamp is carved from clay and bisque fired, but I dropped it on the cement floor so it has a big chunk missing, ouch.

This mug is huge. Zlatohrbitek uses it for his giant greens-and-maca-powder-and-cacao-and-avocado-and-nut smoothies. It's not really as big as I meant to make it though.

Glazed in a black glaze, except the stamped part which is left unglazed, with a simple stain to highlight the stamp.

Cone 6 oxidation.
