I never expected to miss something so minorly apparent in my life SO MUCH.
There were manatees all along our canoe "trails", and along the places we used to go walking where I grew up in FL, and tho we didnt see them OFTEN they were the silliest sweetest lil watermoos...

There was a house two blocks away with a standing manatee as their mailbox. My little sister used to ask if we could "go pet the manatee" when we went for walks, and I secretly loved it too. ^^;
