I think the figure is done, or 99% done at least so now I have to figure out background etc. Lots of detail and I like it...just hope the whole clock idea works for this.

Hey, everyone's tastes are different. Have you seen the finished version? It has a different colored background so might change how you see it. Sorry I don't have a uncolored version or I would show you. I appreciate the feedback even if you don't care for the colors.

I keep waffling about whether or not to give you a honest comment on this one. I've waffled on it since you first posted it. Because I just don't like it, and as a rule, avoid leaving purely negative comments (gods know the internet has enough of those). While I can tell you put a lot of work and detail into it, the colors are just plain ugly to me, the gold seems to clash with the steel. Maybe I'd like it if you did something similar in a single color palette, say - gold/brass/copper - or - silver/nickel/steel. I'd be curious to see the linework on this one, before you colored it, if you have a pic of that. There, I said it.
