Kitsune Revealed (critique requested)

TristanAlexander

Yet another Japanese print style picture. I am doing these in hopes of sales at the upcoming Balticon at the end of May. This is "Kitsune Revealed", 5 x 10 1/2, Acrylic, Micron marker, ProWhite and a tiny bit of Prisma Color on Canson board. Original SOL D, prints available.

A very beautiful traditional piece, well done. :)

I heard kitsune's were these trickster spirits that always messed with you. Is that true about them?

Beautiful! The details on the kimono are great!!

Doing the details on the kimonos is one of the reasons I love doing these.

I really like that you used the character's pink in the background too!
also a nice contrast of the kimono and character color :)

(and this picture truely fits a kitsune!)

Thanks! Originally the kitsune was a bit lighter than the tree but after I did the tree I realized she should be that color as well. Glad you like that and that you think it works well overall for a kitsune.
