Instead of working on stuff that might sell and make me money I am doing yet another Peerage scroll for the SCA. I was asked to do this and since the person who it is for gifted me with something very spiffy once, I felt I should do it. The Sforza Hours is one of my all time fav books to work from so that is what this is inspired by. This is on real parchment (animal skin) and is 9 x 12.
(If by some chance you are in the SCA and recognize the arms, keep it secret as the award is supposed to be a surprise.

Well it can be done without politics and adult drama. They happen in ANY organization by the way.

I haven't found a group that was remotely chill though one in Portland was pretty decent. Most organizations have drama but the petty levels were extreme in it so I bowed out rather than have to have that causing me anxiety. Its cool, just not for me, my rabbit sitter and her mom are active. I gave her daughter a lot of my old stuff but not the metal practice wear. Too big and its not what her mom is into and involved with. They hold the practice at my fiance's work's lawn here in town. We're around it a lot, but I just can't anymore. I love to lend out my tools though, or do stuff outside of groups with individuals.

I haven't done SCA in a long time (politics and adult drama is not for me) but this was always why I would get reeled in. Love this, and seeing the WIP.
