I love boxes and painting them. This was done in 2000 and is all metalic Acrylic gold on a wooden box. This is just the top and the sides all had swirls and cut outs on it as well. I think this was about 10 x 8 or so. The gryffon is based on one on the Scythian necklace from 3000-100 B.C. They are amazing gold sculpures that look so realistic! Prints available.
