I did this because I wanted to make the eyes the focus and I had a nice photo reference to base it on. It is on black paper in Prisma color. I did add a little Acrylic (the brightest white and the reddest red). I wish it were my vampyre Valentene, but it doesn't look like him :(
"Night Eyes", I think it was smaller than 8 1/2 x 11. Prints available.

Intense and evocative; I love it. I think you got the shadows on his face perfectly in this piece. I've always had a thing for art with tenebrous lighting, as it adds this extra dimension of mystery to a subject. I'm still trying to get better at it myself!
