Khador Juggernaut by Trapmagius

Khador Juggernaut

Trapmagius

So what have I been doing during my art absence? Well, aside from taking it easy, I've been painting. This is one of the things I've completed, the Juggernaut (bitch!). 10 tons of steel, the strongest and most durable warjack chassis in the Iron Kingdoms. Armed with the infamous Ice Axe, it can freeze its targets solid, if they're not killed outright by the mighty blow it delivers.

Took about 6-8 hours to paint, all in all. Started with a base of Chaos Black sprayed on, then a layer of Knarloc Green and Mechrite Red for its main body and shoulders respectively. The shoulders then got a layer of Red Gore, while the rest of the body received a healthy brushing of Catachan Green. The metal bits are in Boltgun Metal, bronze details done with Sycorax Bronze. The Ice Axe was done with a base of Hawk Turqoise (I think... the pot I got is mislabeled...) mixed with Chaos Black, then a straight up layer of Hawk Turqoise once it had dried, then it got mixed in with a little bit of Skull White, and then a drybrush of Skull White to give off that frosty feeling. The smokestack was drybrushed with Chaos Black to give it that sooty, used feeling. Everything aside from the blade of the axe was later slathered with liberal amounts of Devlan Mud to give it that dirty, rugged look.

Yeah, Citadel paint on Privateer Press figures. Ain't that some shit? :3
