In the depths of the Eifel 6

Transcentyger

This very complex subterranean object in the Eifel had its origins in natural caves and a mine and was used in the 20th century for different purposes.

Somebody had a sense for modern art.

"Obviously, this artifact, placed in the cave by 20th century man. served a religious function. imagine their awe at coming on it on the dark, by dim electric light." (Inside joke - archaeologists say that about everything, and, sometimes I wonder if they're getting it right or "religious object" is professor for "WTF I dunno what they were doing!")

Of course this is a "cult object" - just see the pentagram inside it! ;-)
