Legend of Zelda: God of Flames by ToxicCreed

Legend of Zelda: God of Flames

ToxicCreed

It was on Kearra's Christmas Wishlist to have artwork of her Gods of Hyrule and possible redesigns so... :shifty: I decided to surprise her with this one.

My personal take on her Depiction of Volvagia from Legend of Zelda in his 'dragon' form of sorts. Where she drew him as a Naga I went with a bit of a combination. Volvagia from legend of Zelda is generally seen as a Wyrm of sorts without wings. Thus for me I designed him with his front legs/arms that taper off into a long serpentine tail. I also added a skull mask to more reflect the dragon forms head in this. He's also got two sets of horns because WHY NOT :dummy:

Volvagia plays a large role in why Sephiner is the way he is. Sephiner is blessed by Volvagia and thus he carries around a very precious gem that is gifted to only those chosen to be blessed by the God of Fire with his powers. While all of the Rito (My personal species of Rito anyway) seek out Volvagia for his blessing to gain their second set of wings, only one is ever blessed with his gift of Fire and with his powers. When the blessed Rito dies, then Volvagia is likely to pick another that is worthy of his blessing. Granted that could take a fairly long time seeing as the Gods Gift is not given so easily.

Also in my personal head canon I personally see Volga as being Volvagia's son or child. Or even a descendant of Volvagia given their similarities, this would explain why Volga looks a lot like Volvagia but is also more Dragon-like rather than a Wyrm like appearance.

Anyway a lot of this is likely to change as myself and Kea do more work with these things. So... yeah... enjoy the sexy dragon man :dummy:
