Lusarthian just moments after he's hatched out of his egg. This was done as a means to try and get into the kick of certain things and after the longest time of reading the World of Warcraft Novels (War Crimes, War of the Ancients Archive, Warcraft Archive, Rise of the Lich King, etc. etc.) I've wanted to try and get back into the grasp of writing stories and the like.

Granted if I did anything with the World of Warcraft universe it would all be kept private and only posted on private websites so that I can keep it to myself but have it as a reference for certain characters. The Premise of this particular story would revolve around the Black Dragon Lusarthian and his story in general. How he was born, how he hatched, how he obtained his wounds that you see on him as an adult (Which he got before he hatched), etc. etc. I want to really flesh out Lusarthian because personally for me, he is one of my babies and I want to give him all the love I can.

Plus he's just god damn lovable in the current RPs I am using him in. I might edit his name to match the black dragon flight's naming scheme (It should be Lusarthion and not Lusarthian but I derped and typo'd and it stuck)

Anyway, first time drawing something hatching out of an egg... he looks all broken but that's the point. His egg was severely damaged before he hatched which is why he is both blind and wounded the way he is as an adult. Also... tons of babeh gooooooooop... I see dragons hatching in a manner similar to Snake Eggs and having all that goop and baby goo all over them~
