This is an orchestra piece I wrote as a fight song for Native people in our present day struggles for our land rights, for our treaty rights, against racism, and against the ghosts that follow us from inter-generational trauma. We are still here and have managed to survive and while our struggles are still present and very heavy, we have not, nor will we ever, give up. This was performed by a live orchestra conducted by me, egh I am not an amazing conductor but I've gotten better since then. This piece was originally written for a chamber ensemble from Long Beach, CA, a 6 instrument group and I expanded it to this.
