There's something out there to be said
But I see it not today
All the clever words are fled
And there's nothing more to say
All the voices of the world
They echo through the air
A thousand battle cries unfurled
To tell us we should care
And all the things worth saying
They are already said
What point then in replaying
The tears others have shed?
There's something out there to be said
Something I alone could say
A thing to change the path ahead
But I see it not today

The spark is gone and ashes lie
Where dreams were want to gleam
For apathy is how we die
When we have not will to scream
