I will hold your hand,
Though the strength has left your paws.
The end has come,
And I know not what's the cause.

Lover, why must we part so soon?
I want you to stay.
You are the sun to my pale moon,
Without you, silver fades to gray.

I long to hear your purr,
See that gentle smile,
Stroke again your golden fur,
Just for a little while.

But there's no air between us,
Just our shells of steel and glass.
All I can do is hold your hand,
Count hours, as they pass.

The end has come and night, it falls,
My Sun, you've gone away.
But still I'll hold your hand for you,
As Sliver fades, to gray.

Lauren's a twit, but I still feel sorta sorry for her sometimes. Not often, though. XP

Rhyme and rhythm's a bit jumbled, but whatever. *shrugs*
