Dead Rabbits

If I brought you dead rabbits
Would you know that they're love?
Or when I gently bite you
Not give me the shove?

Could you look past my fur
And not find me unclean?
See what I've done
But know what I mean?

For although I'm a wolf
I can tell that you're not
That you don't like dead things
Even ones that I've caught

And I know that it hurts
When I've bitten your hand
But could you forgive me?
Try to understand?

I'm empty without you
And that's a hard way to live
But my love is dead rabbits
It's all I can give
