This is my first Picture of probably recurring Characters, the Swim Team of a little Private Swim School on Moloka'i Island. All coming from different countries, having now found a new home on the lonely Island, trying to live their own way of competitional Swim Sport.
From left to Right:
Hailey is an American Girl hailing from America. After losing interest in the harsh environment of competitive swimming she traveled the world and learned about way of 'professional' swimming on Moloka'i Island. Now she's the Team Leader of the local Swim Team.
Noelani is one of the local inhabitants of the Island and lives in a small village with her huge Family. Her obsession is freediving and spearfishing, but after being showed the pool and the competitive scene, she almost likes it as much as being out in the ocean....but only almost...
Anita was a really big hope for the open water and marathon swimming in her homeland, Iceland, but the shy girl couldn't bear the combination of pressure in addition to the general disinterest about open water swimming compared to 'real' competition swimming. After a breakdown while trying to overcome the English channel she disappeared from the professional swimming scene, getting lost in some more calm hobby, but could never really part from the water, so she did develop an obsession for scuba diving... While searching for great diving locations she made an aquaintance with a native girl as lost in the depths as herself. After a while this native girl convinced her to try going back to the surface-sport again~
Zoe hails from New Zealand and she's the only one from the Team who has real interest in things other than swimming sport. In fact, she loves almost every kind of sport, but her guiltiest pleasure is the rush of competition and extreme challenges. On Moloka'i Island she found a calm haven to train together with dedicated girls to work on getting fit for stuff like the Iron Man Challenge.

Maybe we will see more of them soon, but i will surely work on other stuff before that :3
