This was written probably around 2007 or 2008. The files on my hard drive are dated from later 2008 but I think I re-worked the lyrics and added tabs at a later date.

Basically my attempt to write an indie song with a Moby Dick reference. This is one of the few songs I have where I bothered tabbing the chords and I hope the tabs are correct for the melody I had in mind. The last chords of the refrain (Am and GM) were a deliberate use of a musical "amen" for ironic effect.

I threw in some lyrics snatched from what I presume to be a 19th century whaler's shanty called "The Greenland Whale Fisheries."
