I've made frequent references to my work as a metanovel that can be read multiple ways, but rather than link to a TL;DR post to explain it, I thought I'd make a graphic that shows how these books flow together.
Option A
In this order, a vast narrative involving multiple worlds, plots, timelines, and characters emerges. Think of it as something like Vonnegut or Pinchon would put together where unexpected threads come together at weird, self-referencing points, but broken into five relatively light and easy-to-follow books instead of a single dense hard-to-follow doorstop.
Option B
For those who prefer specific types of stories or want to avoid the most explicit content, the cycle can be taken as two miniseries and a standalone novel. "Basecraft Cirrostratus" and its sequel are sexually explicit, "The Goldenlea," "The Linen Butterfly," and "The Vimana Incident" are not.
