This is the Federation Starship U.S.S. Maine NCC-1820. This is a commission for junowolf. He came up with the design and the genius NCC number, the year Maine became a state!

The design is similar to a Miranda class, its kind of like the Miranda class for the movie. The nessels are placed below the saucer section and the secondary hull (stardrive) is placed above.

I really enjoyed doing this picture. Its all done by hand in oC with the exception of the text which I did in Photoshop.
