Devil Ray Fighter/Attacker Design by Thoth

Devil Ray Fighter/Attacker Design

Thoth

This is my 5th generation fighter design. I decided that I wanted to take a crack at a modern jet today. This jet uses Active Aeroelastic Wing technology for all control surfaces which means the wings are broken up into segments that move independently. When in flight the wings seem to twist slightly, a lot like how old biplanes used to maneuver. AAW tech causes some funny flight characteristics so the wings also come equip with forward sliding slats, the slats activate via computer sensing a wing loosing lift. The engines are supersonic capable and come with thrust vectoring nozzles. It also boasts dual 20mm cannons on either side of the cockpit.

It's not exactly a stealth aircraft but neither is the F-22 really.

Kinda looks like that die-cast toy I had from the USAF.
