Gift pic for zapher's birthday last year.

2011's Drive is one of his favourite movies, so to try something new, I decided to try something different and recreate one of his favourite posters for the film, a retro-styled poster originally created by James White:

Whereas I guess I could have cut some corners here and there, I was feeling ambitious this time round - along with the obvious Zaph interstion, everything in this image was created from scratch to try and match the original artwork, either in direct duplication or mirroring the original style as close as possible. A lot of the finer details took longer than expected, but I love how this turned out at the end of the line.
